LIMPID Corp. (CEO Heesu Kim) announced that it signed an agreement on services for companion animal guardians together with the Kyungpook National University Animal Hospital and iM Bank on Wednesday the 26th at iM Bank's Suseong-dong head office. The agreement comes as the number of households with companion animals grows and pet-related services expand. Youngsam Kwon, Director of the KNU Animal Hospital, and Daekwon Son, Managing Director of iM Bank, attended the ceremony and discussed active cooperation across pet-related business areas.
The Kyungpook National University Animal Hospital is a leading secondary veterinary medical institution serving the Daegu and Gyeongbuk region, with one of the most comprehensive clinical systems in Korea. It offers integrated care across 11 departments with a medical staff of about 50, including 12 clinical professors who are specialists in their fields.
iM Bank is Korea's seventh nationwide commercial bank. Formerly DGB Daegu Bank, which launched in 1967 as Korea's first regional bank, it converted to a nationwide commercial bank and changed its name in 2024. To offset a smaller branch network, it has been strengthening its digital capability and building a broad financial platform through partnerships with fintech startups.
LIMPID Corp. is a pet food health care startup founded by clinical nutrition veterinarians and IT specialists. It operates 'Saladpet', Korea's leading pet food app, and the premium freeze-dried diet brand 'TrustyFood', and plans to launch 'Dr.Trusty', a non-face-to-face therapeutic diet service, in the second half of this year. Its selection for the fifth cohort of DGB Financial Group's FIUM Lab in 2023 led to the partnership with iM Bank.
Under the agreement, the three organizations will cooperate on mutual growth, financial services and transactions, and contributions to the local community.
As part of the agreement, iM Bank plans to release a savings product provisionally titled 'Serious About Pets' together with LIMPID's pet food brand 'TrustyFood' this summer.
LIMPID will also support pet seminars hosted by iM Bank. Veterinarians from the KNU Animal Hospital and other specialists will be invited to speak on topics such as behavioral problems and disease, canine atopy and food allergy, and coping with pet loss syndrome.

LIMPID plans to accelerate its work on therapeutic diets and pet health care technology and content, and to continue providing new services for companion animals and their guardians.
