LIMPID, a pet food tech company exhibiting at CES 2024, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT show held in Las Vegas, announced on the 10th that it had unveiled its latest product, the 'Saladpet DTC Palatability Test Kit'.
Changtae Kim, LIMPID's CTO and a clinical nutrition veterinarian, said, "The DTC palatability test kit is built around delivering a tailored diet that accounts for an animal's health and its preferences." The product assesses feed palatability precisely enough to support individualized diet recommendations.
LIMPID uses AI and an extensive database to curate diets matched to an animal's palate, life stage, health status and allergies. The company sees CES 2024 as a step toward taking the DTC palatability test kit into global markets.
CEO Heesu Kim added, "This technology does more than help an animal eat well; it will drive the digital transition of the feed industry. We are glad to be at CES 2024 and look forward to building relationships with global brands from here."
LIMPID expects its participation in CES 2024 to point the pet food industry in a new direction, giving guardians a better basis for choosing what to feed and opening a new path for companion animal health.
The Saladpet DTC palatability test kit is designed to help guardians understand their animal's preferences more accurately and choose a diet accordingly. It also offers a different perspective on the feed industry, making the process of selecting a diet more efficient and more scientific.
