Pet food tech company LIMPID announced that its premium pet food brand 'TrustyFood' has introduced 'Garnish', a new treat and topper line built around canine nutrition and health. The line is designed as an alternative to freeze-dried meat or capelin treats, which are not generally recommended from a veterinary standpoint.

The TrustyFood Garnish line was developed with antioxidant support, weight management and joint health in mind. It includes freeze-dried vegetables rich in naturally occurring phytochemical antioxidants and freeze-dried green-lipped mussel, which supports joint health. The products use only human-grade ingredients sourced in Korea or from New Zealand and Spain, with no additives or artificial preservatives.

Unlike existing green-lipped mussel treats made from ground meat, these products keep the ingredient in its whole form to improve palatability. The vegetable mix includes Brussels sprouts, okra, kabocha squash, purple sweet potato, cauliflower and baby carrots, supporting a broader range of nutrient intake.

Dr. Changtae Kim, the clinical nutrition veterinarian responsible for TrustyFood, said, "We are glad to offer guardians a high-quality treat they can serve with confidence. We also selected phytochemical-rich vegetables in a range of colors so that guardians can share the plating culture they enjoy with their dogs."

TrustyFood launched its 'Freeze-Dried Patty' main diet last year, and will continue to introduce products built around canine health and nutrition.
