LIMPID (formerly Rhinobox), which operates Korea's leading feed information app 'Saladpet', announced that it has been selected for the second cohort of 'Shinhan Square Bridge Daejeon', the startup development program run by Shinhan Financial Group.

'Shinhan Square Bridge' is an accelerating program operated by Shinhan Financial Group to address regional challenges and raise social value by helping innovative startups grow into K-unicorns and expand abroad. The Daejeon program focuses on global expansion and is run jointly with 500 Global, a top-tier venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley.

Startups selected from a competitive field receive investment introductions through Shinhan's dedicated fund, hands-on support in marketing and IR consulting, proof-of-concept and partnership meetings with large and mid-sized companies, one-on-one business consulting with specialists, and connections to public-private clusters.

Saladpet, the data-driven feed app operated by LIMPID, was recognized for connecting companion animal health data and feed nutrition data with usable palatability and food allergy data. The 'Palatability Test Kit' in particular is the first DTC kit to assess an animal's palatability profile, turning feed palatability, an area that had never been quantified, into a database and giving the company a position in the pet food market.

Sangbeom Park, CEO of LIMPID, said, "We are glad to be selected for 'Shinhan Square Bridge', one of Korea's leading accelerating programs, and to have the chance to work with Shinhan Financial Group. Building on our feed data and veterinary nutrition expertise, we will grow while advancing nutrition standards across the pet food industry, from platform to brand to manufacturing solutions."

LIMPID (formerly Rhinobox) changed its name from Rhinobox to LIMPID as it moved beyond a feed app toward a pet food technology company covering brands and premix solutions, strengthening its analysis and solutions based on feed and health data on the strength of its palatability and allergy data and veterinary nutrition expertise.
